Annie Rivière's Biography
Born in 1961 , Annie Rivière
is the only child of an old « Saint Rémoise » family.Her great
grandfather Alfred Rivière was already
in 1890 a painter in St. Remy de provence. In 1994 , Annie met T.Pataî ,
teacher from Budapest Arts Academy (Hungria) and learned with him painting and
sculpture for 7 years .
In 2002 after
many exhibitions in Provence ,Annie opened her gallery in the old family house
in St. Rémy were she exibits only her
own paintings.
Annie has chosen to use oil painting in an « impressionist » technic
.She used the right color from the tube
without any adjunction and never used black color .
Her favourite themes are
the landscapes in the area of St. Remy and Provence lavender fields Annie has
an advantage because she always been dazzled by the souvenirs of her native Provence and her paintings reflect her
heart , beside the Arts .
